For funders and underwriting teams
We're building this now
We're building Credalane to put the file in one place, show where every number came from, and leave the decision with your team.
This is the work the product is for. It is not a report from a live customer.
Statements and applications arrive in different formats, often across inboxes.
Someone reads the same pages again to check one number.
Why a deal was approved or declined can end up in notes, email, or memory.
Credalane would get the file ready and show where each number came from. Your underwriter decides. A pilot would shape the steps around how your team already works.
The application and the statements stay with the file.
Each figure points back to the lines it came from. You can see what was counted and what was left out.
The product would say suggest approve, needs review, or suggest decline. Those words mean it is a suggestion.
A person approves, declines, or sends the file back. The file keeps who decided and why.
Your team sets the rules and approves any change. Each change is saved on its own.
This is the kind of page the product is being built to show.
One made-up month of deposits. The two transfers are left out of the counted figure.

What Credalane would say: two deposits look like transfers between the business's own accounts, so they were left out.
Needs review
2 returned payments. Example dates: June 4 and June 18. statement_june.pdf, page 3, lines 14 to 19.
This note is separate from the deposit total above.
Not recorded
An underwriter would record the call here, in their own name. Nothing in this example has been decided.
Credalane would suggest. Only an underwriter decides, and the file would show who made the call.
Nothing on this page is a finished offer. A pilot would be small, and the details would be agreed first: which files to try, what to look at, who reviews the suggestions, and how you will know it helped.
